Easy Construction Anywhere
The Force 10 system is designed on precise engineering, careful, systematic planning and factory manufacture so that the work “on-site” is minimal and requires much less skill than conventional building. And our modular building system means only a minimum of skilled labour ir required. The engineering, ease of transport and simplicity of construction of our steel frame buildings means it is ideally suited to remote and difficult locations.
Certified for Cyclonic & Seismic Conditions
Up to 60% of Force 10 homes have been built in climatic and seismic high-risk areas. In over 20 years we have not had major damage to a single home while many adjacent homes have suffered major structural damage or been totally destroyed by cyclones, tremors or earthquakes.
In our system each strucural insulated wall panel is tied down at 1 metre centres by very strong and robust fittings such that the roof is “anchored” through the roof trusses, wall studs, bearers, joists and stumps to the ground. In addition, the whole building is bolted together so securely that it cannot fall apart even in an intense earthquake. As a result our buildings are resistant to 300 kph cyclonic winds, hurricane, storm, tornado and earthquake conditions.
People who sleep in Force 10 house rest soundly in the knowledge that they are sleeping in one of the safest structures in the world.

Cost Competitive
A Force 10 steel home is very cost competitive when compared to other houses built to a similar engineering standard (such as block work for cyclone resistant housing or other steel structures in earthquake prone regions). They are also easy and economical to transport as the steel components are flat packed.
Fast Construction Time Frame
A Force 10 construction to lock up stage is much faster than conventional build as we are bringing prefabricated panels to site. We deliver significant savings and provide excellent value for money by reducing the effect of a number of variables on the building site.
Made Green and Clean: Environmentally Friendly and Energy Efficient
The Force 10 system from factory to site has some great environmental advantages. Being precision engineered there is no wastage, and being all steel reduces the need to fell more trees. All components are transported to site at one time, significantly reducing the number of deliveries and the environmental impact on site. Maximum insulation in our structural insulated panels minimises the cost of heating & cooling, and an energy rating up to 9.5 stars can be achieved with our buildings. There is also little or no site wastage from a Force 10 building which reduces the impact on the local environment.
The Force 10 system is clean and green:
- A Force 10 home comes with insulation already included as a standard feature. It is factory fitted, and is a world class insulation system integrated within the strucural wall panel.
- This achieves an impressive R value of 3.5 and by the addition of insulated ceiling batts into the roof cavity R4.1 can be achieved.
- We have achieved up to an overall Nather energy rating of 9.5 stars. This means less costly cooling or heating expenditure for you and less impact on the environment.
- Steel is 100% recyclable and up to 85% of steel used in building construction is ultimately recycled which means it doesn’t take up landfill space.
- Our system can virtually eliminate the need to use concrete at the construction site meaning there is less disturbance to the local ecology and habitat. This is an important consideration in eco-sensitive areas. And because we manufacture off site with little or no wastage there is also almost no site waste produced that could potentially leech into the local habitat.
- Force 10 steel homes are ‘healthy’ buildings as they have very low Volatile Organic Compound emissions.
- Force 10 prefab buildings are efficient to transport, significantly reducing logistics and carbon footprint by delivering components to site all at once.

We manufacture in accordance with the NCS International Certified Quality Management System, and our purpose built, quality assured factory guarantees a 10 year structural warranty and energy certificate.
Borer and Termite Resistant
The Force 10 floor, wall and roof truss systems use Zincalume G550 Hi-Tensile steel which is 100% termite and borer proof. Because of this, the steel frames don’t require additional chemical treatments to protect them from pest attack. The use of steel as the base framing is recognised both here and overseas as a healthy home alternative for people suffering from asthma.
Fire Resistant / Flood Tolerant
Force 10 buildings have now been certified to be Fire Resistant up to the highest level in Australia, bushfire attack level “Flame Zone”. All of the fundamental elements of a Force 10 structure are non-combustible or fire resistant and make our homes some of the safest structures available in the world. Zincalume G550 Hi–Tensile steel is at the heart of every Force 10 home and of course is non-combustible. Our structural insulated steel panels are faced with an extremely durable fibre cement board and are injected with a fire retardant polyurethane insulation when manufactured. In addition, the fibre cement board is resistant to water, and even after 2 to 3 days immersion its structural integrity is unaffected.
