St John was looking into the maw of Hurricane Georges, which was about to be upgraded to Category 5, the highest category for a hurricane. I knew of a Force 10 house where I could take myself and my kids and be safe. In the end we had six kids, four moms and the couple who resided in the house, coexisting in a 920 square foot, three bedroom house for the duration of the storm. A Force 10 building is so simple to construct. It is prefabricated (designed and built off site) and all parts arrive on-site in only one delivery, ready to construct. Our prefab modular building system consists of floor, wall and roofing systems that combine seamlessly, and require mininum labour. And yes, they really are easier to build than the old Logan Home. Our homes and buildings are ideally suited to regional or remote locations where labour and materials are often expensive or in short supply. Force 10 buildings are put up much faster and require much less labour than other comparable building systems.
If you have a site with difficult soil conditions or terrain, then a Force 10 pre-fab steel building is the perfect solution for you. Our patented flooring system is easily built on top of our unique steel anchoring technology (Mega Anchor System), or on regular piers or footings. Our Mega Anchor System caters for expansive conditions like black soil, challanging sites with very rocky ground, or sites with a steep slope.
